Vijay’s next film ‘Kuruvi’
‘Kuruvi’ is the next film for Vijay in which he joins with the director Dharani. Vijay and Dharani had given a hit movie Ghilli’ earlier. The word Kuruvi is used as the code word for the illegal refugees. Similar to the title the story of the movie revolves around a young boy who lands in Singapore without proper documents and the police also finds him to be a smuggler. The film is produced by Udhayanidhi, grandson of the Chief Minister Karunanidhi. The music is scored by Vidya Sagar for the film. Vijay’s plans to start a Charitable Trust
‘Ilaya Thalapathy’ Vijay is planning to start a Charitable Trust in his sister’s name. He also has plans of doing social service through the Trust. Sources close to the actor says that he is planning to help poor children in continuing their studies. He would select the deserving children and sponsor them for their studies till their graduation. ‘Ilaya Thalapathy’ Vijay has undergone a minor operation during the shooting of ‘Pokiri’. He had irritation in his eyes while shooting for the film and suddenly developed swelling in his eyes and was rushed to hospital and underwent a minor operation. The doctor said that he is fine and he would be perfect after couple of weeks of rest and would get back for the shooting.
Vijay to do three roles!
It seems that the triple action mania has gripped Kollywood. After Ajith, Vadivelu and Vivek, the latest to join the list is Vijay. Vijay is to act in a film in which he will be doing three different roles. The film is to be directed by Gautham Menon. Though Gautham Menon is busy shooting ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’, the director is also getting ready for the mega movie in which he would join with Vijay for the first time. Sources close to the director say that Vijay will be donning the role of a police officer after ‘Pokkiri’.

Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay had a visit to the ‘Dasavatharam’ set in the recent times and spent sometime with the legendary actor. It is said that Kamal Hassan shared his experiences about ‘Dasavatharam’ to Vijay. In spite of his busy schedule due his forthcoming project ‘Azhagiya Thamizh Magan’, Vijay spared time to visit the legendary actor. He seemed to be enthralled at the devotion and commitment of Kamal Hassan in the sets.

When asked about her, he said that, he was amazed at her commitment in work, especially her involvement in dance. He also said that, acting with Shriya has made him bring out the right and apt expressions for the shots.

When he was questioned about his dream to gain Rajini’s position in the industry, he said that he is not looking for such a position because he thinks that the Super Star cannot be replaced by anyone.
